Painted Terra Cotta Pots & My Sweet Girl Planting Geraniums

Whoa...flower pots can get expensive!

I sure do love all the pretty colors and designs of flower pots in the shops but the price tags makes me think

"Hey, I can do that for a fraction of the price"

So here are my 2 terra cotta pots.

They are actually African violet pots...
at least that's what the tag said,
I have no idea why they have
the little slits in the sides though.
But not to worry,
that will be covered up.

Voila!

Here's what I did.
Don't blink because you may
miss out on how easy this is.

PAINT. GLUE BURLAP. PLANT FLOWER

And the best part is getting the kids involved.

Colby loved giving the plants a new home.
She will check on them every
day and watch them grow
over the summer!

Whenever doing a bit of gardening
this summer, get your kiddos
involved  --  they'll love it!
