A Glitzy Halloween Coffin

 Glitter anyone?

Have you seen these cute wooden coffins at Michaels?
I couldn't resist picking up a couple.

Earlier this week I picked up an awesome paper pad full of flocked and glitter scrapbook paper in blacks & creams. So perfect for an elegant Halloween. I traced all sides of the coffin onto the paper and cut it out. I used double sided tape to adhere to the coffin.

It turned out pretty sweet if you ask me.
But I couldn't stop there.

How's this for a glitzy & glamorous coffin. I used plain old Elmers school glue {the kind that dries clear} on the inside of the coffin and then sprinkled a ton of glitter.
A quick tip: spread your glue with a small paint brush, works like a charm.

Mr. Skeleton is ready for some Saturday Night Fever.

If only he could dance.

Q: Why didn't the skeleton dance at the Halloween party?
A: It had no body to dance with.
{Hee, hee, hee}

All glitzed out and no where to go.
{yes that's a word, I just made it up!}
