Paper Halloween Banner

I am still on a banner kick!
But this time I created a Halloween banner out of scrapbook paper and cupcake liners.
I really love the simple traditional black and orange together, you can't go wrong.

I trimmed my cupcake liners to a small, medium, large layout and distressed them on the edges, just a little, with black ink. I also distressed the edges of the white circle that I cut from cardstock. I cut 1" strips from coordinating scrapbook paper to decorate the top edge and then hole punched each triangle and fed the ribbon through.

I used hot glue to attach each cupcake liner and cardstock circle. My chipboard letters & embellishments were sticky back.

It's amazing what you can make from a few sheets of paper and cupcake liners!

I really want to start decorating for Fall & Halloween but I think I'd be the only one on the block doing so!

Love the use of cupcake liners. I have some that I've been saving, wondering what to do with them. Now I know. Thanks for sharing your Creative Idea. I'm adding this to my Pinterest board.

Awesome idea, you'll have everybody making banners across the country. I've been itching to get fall decos out and get 'em out on front porch and in house. Nobody else in our neighborhood does any fall decorating. Ky folks always did but we don't live in KY anymore. Now live in western CO. But I decorate anyway and enjoy it, I'm 71. Thanks for great project. Where did you find the Halloween cupcake liners? Have fun creating.

Hi Sarah, I'm crazy about your Halloween banner! I've had some really cute M.E. cupcake liners and didn't really know how to use them since you can't really flatten them out very well. I never thought about crinkling them up.

I'm your newest follower. I hope you stop by and visit me too.
