Valentine Tree

I have this twig tree that I decorate for just about every occasion. The twig branch is one that I cut from the woods behind my house. I use it year after year, it's held up good.
For Valentine's I decorate it with a few stamped images on cardstock hung with twine and some little metal hearts I purchased at the dollar store.
It's a cute little addition to my dining area and I love the pale turquoise vase it's in - It was a metallic copper color but I painted it a pale turquoise...much better!

  2. Very nice! I think I could handle doing something like this. Is there something you have to do with the branch so that it doesn't dry out and break easily when you take stuff on and off? I have a centerpiece of silk flowers. While it's pretty, it the same one from like uh 12 years ago. I could use some updating and seasonal variety. Stopping by from Katherine's corner. Please email me the branch advice. Thanks!
