I really enjoyed putting this tree together with the help of my awesome daughter.
We used a hand drawn cardboard leaf as the template and traced it onto the most beautiful scrapbook paper from Glimpses, please click here to check out their products - you won`t be disappointed!
Then my daughter cut out all of those leaves for me!
The branch is one from my yard, the vase I picked
up at Winners...I just couldn't resist - it`s beautiful.
I placed some yellow Easter basket filler in
the bottom and then the pastel Easter eggs
to hold the branch in place.
All of the leaves were hot glued on, but it
was very quick...just dab and stick.
Glimpses has a wide variety of paper craft products and they are all wonderful, the latest designs & colors and the paper quality is fabulous.

I love bringing nature indoors. What a sweet craft to create with your daughter. It's a lovely Easter decoration. Do you really still have snow on the ground?
ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful! I might have to make one too!
ReplyDeleteYes we still have a little...it snowed today a couple of centimeters. We live in Newfoundland, Canada...it is quite common to have snow in April.
ReplyDeleteI love branches! The paper simply adds to the beauty! Lovely...Much love, Lisa
ReplyDeleteI found it so homey to see snow at Easter, I'm a Canadian living in Australia (but not for long, because we are moving home in Aug.) I love your Easter tree, and might have to try it next year. Janelle
