Spray Painted Mason Jars

I am looking for cheap projects to change
the decor of my kitchen a little.

I have dark cabinets which I totally regret now...
but 4 years ago when we built the
house I was in love with them.

I have a different outlook on what I like now,
mostly whites and creams and bright accents...
a few pastels too.

But since most of my house is browns,
it's really hard to incorporate those colors.
Once the sofa needs replacing
(which may not be for a while...sigh),
it will be easier to create that new look I'm going for.

So for now I'm just picking away at the little
things that I can display in the kitchen & dining
area that will give a pop of color.

And you can't get any easier than spray
painting a couple of mason jars
and adding a pretty ribbon.

All I did was spray paint several coats
to the inside of the jars,
letting each coat dry in between.
Nothing to it...
quick & cheap!

Don't forget to link up your
latest projects to

going on right NOW!!!

See you guys soon...
have a great Monday!

Great project Sarah! I've done that before but with just pouring paint into a bottle and rolling it around, then pouring out the excess. But I'll have to remember that for a gift I have coming up. Hey, I've been trying to decide on new cabinets -- so dark is too dark? I've been considering a medium brown, but perhaps I should go with white? thanks for the heads up AND --- for joining me and becoming a VERY COOL PEOPLE --- at * simple sequins * !!! (i think we are going to get along great :) )
