A Birdhouse Makeover

Since I`m still looking for cheap 
& inexpensive
ways to brighten the 
decor in my kitchen,
I dug out these two birdhouses
that were tucked away and gave
them a makeover.

Here they are before.
Sad & gloomy.


But with a little touch of paint...






They became...

BEAUTIFUL









Just a quick FYI...
that little pedestal thingy 
is actually a toothbrush holder!

    Looks like the houses might have been terra cotta? (Which I do love) - but I really like the transformation - especially the birds being bright and cheerful. Great idea and great job! Enjoyed my visit (here from Liz' Time Travel Thursday). Jenn
