The light fixtures you choose for your home make such a huge style statement for your room. If I were to do it all over again, build a house that is, I would definitely choose different lighting. I have a couple of fixtures in my house that I love but for the most part it wasn't something that I put a lot of thought into when the house was being built. I think now I would have every design element for every room pinned to their own boards on Pinterest! I have certainly changed my color style in the last couple of years, whites and creams are now my friend whereas before I'd never use white in a room.
