Apparently the inside skin of a banana peel is wonderful for shining shoes. I'd remove all the stringy bits first though!

Used tea bags will sooth a sunburn, or you can add a few to your bath and soak your body to ease the sunburn pain.

We've all had price tags that leave that sticky guck behind. Try rubbing it with peanut butter. It will help the price tag peel away with ease.

Vanilla Extract is excellent for deodorizing your refrigerator. Pour a tiny bit on a cotton ball or paper towel and lay it in your fridge, it will smell wonderful!

A great way to repel ants is by using chalk powder. Spread chalk powder around the exterior of your house. Ants are repelled by the calcium carbonate in the chalk.

 Instead of using baking soda for deodorizing the fridge, use it to control dandruff.  Create some homemade baking soda shampoo. Use 1/8 cup of baking soda mixed with warm water each time you wash your hair, you'll find your hair free of flakes and softer.

Deodorize your garbage disposal. Pour 1/2 cup of salt into the bottom of the disposal and rinse it with warm water. The smell will be gone in a flash. Add a little lemon squeeze if you want to freshen things up a little more.
